Movement Principles is where it all begins. Whether you are just starting to explore or you are ready to commit to a comprehensive training program this course is the first step.

Our comprehensive teacher training schedule begins in August and ends in April. Students who will need to fulfill the anatomy requirement will have an option to take AI3D in late July prior to the start of Movement Principles in August.

Currently only students participating in one of our programs are eligible to take courses online. Please refer to the course catalog for details on each individual course.
We are awaiting approval to open up an online option to all students and expect to have an answer by the end of August.

All in-person students will receive their manual on the first day of class. Any online students will need to provide a shipping address upon registration.
Please allow 10-14 days for manuals to be shipped. For registrations received less than 14 days in advance we will do our best to expedite delivery of your manual but cannot guarantee. In the event you have not received a manual by the start date of your course, a PDF version will be provided to you.

Students who wish to enroll in one of our training programs (Mat Instructor, Reformer Instructor, Comprehensive Pilates Instructor) receive a 10% discount. This discount is already reflected in the program price and does not apply to manual and streaming fees.
Please note there are additional costs for manuals and streaming.

Your $10 streaming fee goes directly to Balanced Body and gives you access to video clips of exercises, movements, and lectures that are associated with each individual class. You will need to purchase streaming separately for each course you are registering for.

All students are expected to attend the full duration of each course they are signed up for. In the event you are unable to attend a portion of class you are required to make up the missed time with an Educator.
Please note there is an additional $150/hr fee associated with any extra time.

Students working towards a test-out will need to complete specific observation, personal practice, and student teaching hours related to their specific program. For complete details, please refer to the course catalog.

It is recommended that all students begin with Movement Principles as this course lays the foundation for what the rest of the modules are based on. Students mat opt to take Mat 1 or Reformer 1 first but would need to complete Movement Principles before moving on to Mat 2 or Reformer 2.

Many students already have met the anatomy requirement through another training. Please refer to the course catalog for a complete list of accepted anatomy programs. If your program is not listed, please reach out to us at education@movementconnectsus.com and provide documentation of the class you would like us to review including objectives, syllabus, and certificate of completion.
Online Courses

No - not all classes have an online option. Please check each course description to see if the course you are interested in is offered online.
Currently only program students are eligible to take courses online but we anticipate approval for all students by the end of Agusut.

No. Online classes are designed to be in-person and synchronous. All online students are expected to be present, with their camera on for the entirety of the course. Your Balanced Body streaming link will give you access to pre-recorded video demonstrations of each exercise covered during the weekend.

The requirements for each course may vary but in general you will need the following as an online student:
computer with a working camera
reliable internet access
ZOOM app or desktop version
Equipment related to your course. (For example, Reformer 1 and Reformer 2 require that you have access to a reformer for the entirety of the class)

All courses are taught via zoom. If you have registered for an online version and have not received a zoom link in your course welcome email, please call us at 303-993-2237 and we can help.

Manuals are shipped within 2 business days of an order being placed. Please not we cannot guarantee on time delivery of manuals for registrations received within 2 weeks of course starting date but will do our best to get them to you. In the event your manual does not arrive on time, you will be sent a digital PDF copy for temporary use.
